With a stunning roof terrace on two levels, a mini-pool, an outdoor shower and offering a 360° view over the historic centre, Palazzetto Giravolta is a lovingly restored property in the ‘centro storico’ (old town) of the bustling city of Lecce, a few steps from the renowned “Piazza del Duomo”, the square of the town’s Cathedral.
If you’re looking to slow down the pace of life for a few days or weeks, Puglia is the perfect destination for you. This is Italy at its most Italian, with year-round good weather (though it can get hot in the summer) and endless olive groves. Puglia is also famous for its Trulli houses. The conical stone roofs of these huts are synonymous with the region. The best preserved examples are in Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site that makes for a great day trip.
Puglia is the heel of Italy’s boot, and its elongated shape means that you’re rarely more than half an hour from the beach. The place is not only appreciated by sun-worshippers. There’s a rich vein of history and culture to explore, centred on Lecce, in the south of the region. The baroque architecture in the city centre alongside many constructions in Liberty style, the Italian version of Art Nouveau, has earned it the nickname ‘Florence of the South’.
The numerous bars in the centre come alive at the time of the "aperitivo" and the local restaurants offer original and tasty cuisine thanks to the healthy and natural products of the land of Salento.

Giravolta is an invitation to follow your instinct and lose yourself in the maze of perfumes and ‘chiaroscuro’ (light-dark contrast), the doors, the coats of arms, the small details, the balconies and the colour of the stone eroded by time. Whenever you need to reorient yourself, just look up for the bell tower of the Duomo, acting as a lighthouse in the middle of the sea of alleys.
The house consists of two levels above the ground floor. A grand portal at street level opens onto a beautiful entrance hall which sets the tone for the atmosphere and character of the entire Palazzetto. On the first floor, the main apartment features classic architecture typical of the 19th century and comfortable design interiors can accommodate up to 6 people, comprising a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 2 twin/double bedrooms with en-suite shower room.
The Palazzetto has everything you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Each of the 4 ensuite bedrooms are beautifully designed and there is plenty of space to relax and socialise with friends and family.
